Description:
Wilber's is an elegant dining establishment in a redecorated old mansion hidden in a lively residential recommunity near Dongshan Kou in Guangzhou.
A small courtyard leads the retreat from the outside hustle and bustle into the peaceful restaurant, which is a Russian style construction with spacious rooms, big windows and high ceilings. The ambience is soft and cozy, thanks to its concise, exquisite and somehow rhythmatic setup and artistic décor. The roof balcony is a particularly charming spot, not to be missed.
The food is "one thumb up", meeting its commitment as the "The Best Little Food House in Guangzhou", featuring above-average and authentic Italian cuisine. However, portion sizes may not be large enough for heartier appetites. The lamb knee and spaghetti with cuttlefish juice are among the highlights.
The price is a bit on the high side, averaging over ¥140 per person, while the service is fine.
